Calculating Book Spine Width

Perfect bound (glued edge) paperback
IMPORTANT NOTE: The book spine needs to be at least 3mm for Perfect Binding (glued edge). This equates to 26 pages or greater for uncoated paper and 33 pages for silk paper. Note that silk paper, despite having a coating, is thinner that uncoated paper. Uncoated paper has a little more bulk/less compression than silk paper.
